On December 5, fifteen Harper Creek students attended the DECA Sports and Entertainment Conference. The visited Great Lakes Crossing mall to analyze the layout of the mall and stores as well as marketing techniques in window displays. When they arrived at The Palace, they met the marketing team for the Detroit Pistons and a one of a kind opportunity to meet professionals who work behind the scenes for the Detroit Pistons. Guest speakers covered many aspects of the industry, including marketing, sales, communications, public relations, internships and more. At the end of the day, members were guests of the Palace as they watched the Detroit Pistons take on the 76ers.
